The preservation of forests and the environment is vital for the survival of all creatures and the Earth. Contemporary housing, in addition to creating spatial connections and continuity for the residents, should align with nature and its surroundings. As a result, in recent years, this concern has been a focus for architects.
The sense of nature is not necessarily linked to going outdoors; rather, the proper integration of a building with its natural environment can extend this sense into the interior space. In this context, and with the aim of creating harmony between nature and architecture, elements and materials from the exterior (such as greenery, stone, etc.) have been incorporated into the design of the Tolu Villa project.
Moreover, in the Tolu Villa project, in order to minimize the impact on the environment and nature, two key concepts—sustainability (the ability of the project to align with its surroundings) and landscape (creating mental images and preserving visual views)—have been emphasized.
